{"id":1807,"date":"2025-04-22T16:02:44","date_gmt":"2025-04-22T15:02:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/leadergozo.eu\/?p=1807"},"modified":"2026-04-17T10:19:57","modified_gmt":"2026-04-17T09:19:57","slug":"pre-call-for-proposals-measure-3-empowering-communities-to-act-as-environmental-stewards-under-the-cap-strategic-plan-2023-2027leader","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/leadergozo.eu\/index.php\/2025\/04\/22\/pre-call-for-proposals-measure-3-empowering-communities-to-act-as-environmental-stewards-under-the-cap-strategic-plan-2023-2027leader\/","title":{"rendered":"Call for Proposals \u2013 Measure 3: \u2018Empowering Communities to Act as Environmental Stewards\u2019 under the CAP STRATEGIC PLAN 2023-2027(LEADER)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Gozo Action Group Foundation (GAGF) announces the launch of <strong>Measure 3 \u2018Empowering Communities to Act as Environmental Stewards\u2019<\/strong> \u2013 under the EU funded <strong>CAP Strategic Plan (LEADER) 2023-2027.<\/strong> This action is part of the Local Development Strategy for Gozo and Comino.<\/p>\n<p>The aim of this measure is to improve the quality of the environment of the Region through small-scale initiatives within the territory. This measure will enable communities to put into action small-scale plans aimed at improving the quality of life through interventions that would address water conservation, climate change, biodiversity, waste management and emissions to the environment.<\/p>\n<p>The total budget allocated for this measure is<strong> \u20ac415,418.81<\/strong> of public funds. The minimum amount of assistance that can be requested by the applicant is \u20ac15,000, while the maximum is \u20ac50,000. The aid intensity is 80%, as per CAP SP (2023-2027).<\/p>\n<p>The eligible beneficiaries are Local and Regional councils, VOs, Educational Institutes and micro and small enterprises. All applicants must have a physical centre of activity located in the Gozo region and\/or have a direct interest in activities in the region, proven through a track record. A partnership between entities towards an application is not a requirement.<\/p>\n<p>An information session will be held at the Volunteer Centre in Xewkija on Tuesday, 6th May 2025 at 1:00 p.m., with the possibility to attend online. Interested beneficiaries are to send an email on info@leadergozo.eu.<\/p>\n<p>The call for proposals will open on <strong>Friday, 9th of May 2025<\/strong> as an Open Rolling Call Procedure.
