The Gozo Action Group Foundation (GAGF) announces the launch of Measure 2 \u2018Youth Entrepreneurship in Gozo: Taking Ideas to the Marketplace<\/strong>\u2019 \u2013 under the EU funded CAP Strategic Plan (LEADER) 2023-2027. This action is part of the Local Development Strategy for Gozo.<\/p>\n

The objective of the measure is to support youths and micro enterprises to develop creative business ideas which can benefit the rural society of Gozo. It will also support youths who are already in a business activity but may wish to diversify, further their business, or tap into other markets.<\/p>\n

Youths with creative ideas will be supported to develop business concepts and ideas, acquire skills and knowledge, and develop information and demonstration materials. This support is intended to promote youth entrepreneurship allowing for the improvement of pathways for young people to access economic opportunities in rural areas.<\/p>\n

Eligible beneficiaries are youths (natural persons aged 18\u201330) and micro enterprises whose ultimate beneficial owners are all aged 30 or under<\/strong> at the time of application. Applicants must have a registered address in the Gozo Region.<\/p>\n

The total budget allocated for this measure is \u20ac100,000.00<\/strong> of public funds. The minimum amount of assistance that can be requested by the applicant is \u20ac5,000, while the maximum is \u20ac10,000. The aid intensity is 80%, as per CAP SP (2023-2027).<\/p>\n

The call for proposals is open under an open rolling call procedure. Applications will be assessed in batches every two (2) months based on their submission date, until funds are exhausted.<\/p>\n
