About Us:
The Gozo Action Group Foundation is dedicated to developing rural localities in Gozo, enhancing quality of life, and driving economic prosperity. We implement the LEADER Programme under the Rural Development Programme for Malta and other key initiatives.
Role Overview:
As a Manager, you will oversee the operational and financial management of the Foundation, ensuring the successful implementation of our Local Development Strategy (LDS) in line with National and European regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Decision Committee and act as Project Leader for the LEADER Programme.
- Coordinate approved activities within the LDS and other relevant programs.
- Develop work plans, standards, procedures, and schedules.
- Liaise with various stakeholders including government entities and private organizations.
- Manage financial resources and ensure compliance with public procurement regulations.
- Prepare and submit reports as per guidelines.
- Participate in local and international meetings, training, and conferences.
Who We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree at MQF Level 6 in Rural Development, European Studies, Public Policy, Social Administration, Management, or related fields, OR any Master’s degree at MQF Level 7.
- Competency in Maltese and English (MQF Level 3 or higher).
- Experience in an office environment and knowledge of EU-funded programs is a plus.
- Detail-oriented, able to multitask, work independently, and meet strict deadlines.
- Strong communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills.
- Willingness to travel abroad as needed.
